European Printing Standards

One of the biggest steps forward in the world of printing has been the development of European printing standards. These have really helped to improve not only the quality but the consistency of the product. It has also really helped businesses by making sure that no matter who prints their materials they will always be the same. This has been a problem in the past but it has largely been solved thanks to the standards.

The main purpose of printing standards in Europe is to make sure that the same quality is adhered to regardless of who is doing the printing. This is necessary because large companies often use several different printers in order to produce things like packaging. If there were no standards it would be nearly impossible to get packaging that looks the same from each printer. The only way that you could would be if the company worked directly with each printer to make sure the results came out the way they did from the other printers. This not only take s a lot of time but it also involves a lot of trial and error.

Obviously having to contact every printer and use trial and error to get the results right is an expensive and wasteful way of doing business. In order to get around this problem standards have been introduced. That way with a description of the desired color, font and size you should be able to get the exact same results from any printer every single time. This greatly simplifies the process of getting large numbers of items printed in a number of different locations.

The big thing when it comes to European printing standards is getting the color right. This is a lot harder than it sounds, but companies like 123 print can help you out from the USA. There can be some very subtle variations in color that you would never notice until you put the two of them side by side. This is the biggest reason that companies often get different results when using more than one printer. The colors just don't quite match up. In recent years there have been large improvements in the ability to identify close but different colors. This has really helped to make the printing standards more practical.

One of the issues that needs to be dealt with is to get the ink makers to get to the point where the colors are exactly the same. This is tricky because the makers of the ink don't really want to tell their competitors how they make the ink. That means that they have to find a way to make sure that the colors are an exact match without knowing precisely how they are made. A lot of progress has been made in this regard but there is still room for improvement. Nevertheless the European printing standards have been a huge success and it is no possible to get very similar if not exactly the same results from a number of different printers.
